Linet Naisianoi’s Story
Linet Naisianoi is one of the girls whose education is supported by SMALA. Before we came in, Linet was attending a day school and walking about 20 kilometres every day to get to school. The long distance affected her studies, and her safety was also a major concern.At one point, Linet missed an entire term because her mother could not afford her school fees. This meant she was falling behind in her education despite her determination to continue.SMALA stepped in and helped move Linet to Sajiloni High School, where she could access a safer and more stable learning environment.Today, Linet is in Form 3 and continuing with her education. We are proud to support her journey and give her the opportunity to stay in school and work towards a better future.
